Our Worldwide Workshop offers youth and young adults the opportunity to collaborate with the Jesuitenmission through two different volunteer service programmes. There are a variety of possible placements with different time commitments through our partner projects in Africa, Asia, or Latin America. Depending on your age, education and length of stay, you may be interested in one of the following programmes:
Jesuit Mission Volunteers
If you have completed studies and intend to work abroad for at least a year, the Jesuitenmission offers you the Jesuit Mission Volunteer (JMV) programme. [more]
WeWeX - Worldwide-Experiment
WeWeX enables youth above 18 years to experience a new country, live in a new culture and forge new friendships, for a minimum period of six months. [more]
Jesuit European Volunteers
Besides both volunteer service programmes through the Worldwide Workshop, the Jesuits also offer the Jesuit European Volunteers programme.
To live “differently” for a year? JEV offers the opportunity for service as a volunteer in Germany, other European countries, or Mexico; this can be recognized for Germans’ mandatory year of service. [more]
